We met up at CC in Milton, then as a group rode to the Merlo coffee place at Bowen Hills. All up there were about 60 bikes, and then with a police convoy we rode down to Springwood via the inner city bypass, and we all waved at the hospital, don't know if you saw us or not  Fiorella says you heard us at least which is fantastic 
Most of us gave blood, the only ones who didn't weren't allowed to. It took a while but a huge thankyou to everyone who was extremely patient.
Sasha, about half of the people who were there, were there because they know you or about you. So about 30 people donated blood which will help about 90 others because they care about you. Says a helluva lot about you mate
I'd like to say a huge thankyou to Merlo Coffee, The blood bank, Nova radio, the police for the escort and agreeing to change the route so we could go past the hospital to wave to you, and the journalists that were there.
And an even bigger thankyou to everyone that came along today and donated their time, and more importantly a part of themselves to help others.
Just wait till you see the pics of Jane perched on the roof of the nova promotional car And some of her wearing a cone on her head, and on the policemans's bike.. 
They gave us little heart badges today, and Richard, you know the South african guy who goes to the CC, he came up to me and handed one over and said this one's for Sasha.. So I've got it in a safe place for you |
